You are members of an inkseeker guild in Mar Ruun. You have heard myths and legends about the Chrome Leviathan, an enormous multilevel eldership derelict crashed into the surface of Orn. Archivists pay decent for uncovered pieces of lore and elder-tech.

that looks good! Is it (or will it be) available in print ?

Thanks a lot, and yes, I did consider having a print version—only in the future, however no promises.

For now, I only have ideas. I did some looking into what company to work with, evaluating POD vs. a traditional printing house, pricing, shipping, and how to distribute it at all.

cool! if one would get it in PDF, could it be printed via a POD (like lulu) ?

Sure, no issues with that as long as you want it as a personal copy and don’t plan to sell it. I plan to post an update this weekend to fix some typos, so you’d probably want to wait until then. ;)

off topic, but who did the cover art and how did they make it? So pretty! I would love to make something with the same effect and texture.

It was me, actually! I used Procreate on the iPad with True Grit Texture Supply brushes, they do excellent textures. I overlaid some stock photos and the “path” down the middle of the Leviathan is a combination of two public domain artwork. It was put together in Photoshop in the end, that’s where I was playing around with the blend modes.

Layering the effects and getting the gradient map colours right took most of the time apart from “sculpting” the serpentine body of the Leviathan so that the mass and weight is consistent. The linocut effect was a happy accident from the sculpting bit, I leaned into it to have more of a handmade effect to it.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the process. I do love the textures of it. If I ever run TEA, I’d be super interested in running your supplement.

Excellent work! I had my doubts about the procedural generation of rooms but I think it would actually work pretty elegantly in play. Wonderful descriptions as well. My only real issue is that some of this can use proofreading - I found a few awkward turns of phrase and some typos sprinkled throughout. Other than that, however, this has been my favorite submission thus far. :)

Thanks so much, glad you liked it. I’ll probably go through the entire text and release an update soon. Thanks for the feedback!

Edit: thanks again for working with me on it and I really do appreciate the feedback. Your contributions have definitely made the end product feel more polished. Cheers!
